Eagle Two
Summary
In January 2008, Noront began drilling numerous airborne targets identified on their claims near the Eagle One (Eagle's Nest) discovery. In February 2008, drilling at the AT-2 anomaly, approximately two kilometres southwest of Eagle's Nest, intersected low grade magmatic massive sulphide mineralization.
Drilling to date at Eagle Two totals 26 holes for 9,026 metres. Eagle Two has not, to date, demonstrated the same grade potential as Eagle's Nest. Grades and Eagle Two range from 0.3 to 0,7% nickel and 0.2% Cu over several metres to tens of metres in down hole depth. Platinum and palladium grades are generally lower than what is typical at Eagle's Nest.
